...do you expect ALB to pursue a painful route of taking the C&M path for its WA lithium plant if it had not envisaged a protracted winter hibernation for lithium?
...they had to write off US$1Billion, a major decision not taken lightly.....and we're talking about the No 1 lithium producer making this decision. It clearly underscores what lies ahead----- i.e more pain and this pain won't be transitory. If it is, they won't put their plant under C&M (care and maintenance).
