The reason people are still wanting to buy lithium stocks is because they believe EV is the future.
EV will be the future, but that does not mean EV/Lithium stocks and lithium price can or will return to previous high levels. Arguably commoditisation only ensures they get lower. Just as what internet did for Cisco stock price and modem and routers and what solar panels did for First Solar.
Auto recession is biting ahead of other sectors of the economy as the consumer is hurting.
It will DEFINITELY get worse for EV/Lithium over the next few years…..the bottoming process ends when no one wants to speculate on lithium stocks anymore and fewer mainstream articles want to talk about the lithium space. The bottoming process will typically be followed by an extended consolidation at the bottom range in listless trading.
