Juan, a lithium economy requiring more lithium demand does not mean higher lithium prices and higher lithium stock prices.
That is where lithium Hodlers are got it wrong.
Lithium would be a commodity once US DLE comes into full force. And they would be cheaper to produce. Australia would have to compete against a more dominant lithium player field than we now are.,
Lithium is not Iron Ore. And in 20 years time, there would be even more demand for EV with lithium derived by recycled batteries, marginalisation of lithium based batteries with alternate battery chemicals and DLE lithium. All meant that forward lithium prices will be subject not just to vagaries in the market but also battery chemical technology and extraction and processing technology. Iron Ore has none of those problems and China does not have its own. China is determined not to make their lithium dependence like their iron ore dependence.
