South American lithium producers are not holding back as they can produce much cheaper.
If lithium was just being produced in Australia, USA and Canada, we can hope for a possible price recovery with production cuts.
But production cuts and or suspension in Australia would only likely mean a transfer of market share to South America, China and Africa over time.
