Serviced once at 40,000 km and cost 1/10 of the fuel my Disco cost to run. Traded in for a new one a few weeks ago. The 55000 km old one traded at 32K. It cost 42k. The Disco sale price was 12K. I did love the big 4wd disco except the massive amount it cost me. The cheap new MG4 is odd and will not tow my boat. The savings allows me to hire a tow tug if needed. Happily people who want to fish with me make that a backup plan only.
What is a con job economically is "Cheap or free power" I drove from Queenscliff, Ballarat then to Port Fairy. Reversing course in a few days. Suspect I drove my electric car past 20ish or more Wind Farms. I attempted to measures several HV transmission lines again. I am not anti electric clearly in a EV! The price of our power is NOT cheaper due to free wind or free sunshine! The twits who claimed it would be should be standing with flags saying "I Lie" at each of those huge windmills and a DUNCE hat on!
