Global cobalt production comes mainly from associated ores, of which copper and cobalt-associated ores accounts for 60%, nickel–copper–cobalt sulphide ores 23%, lateritic nickel-cobalt ores 15%, and primary cobalt ores and other only 2%. Thank you for posting this brokenbones, the point illustrating the rarity of primary cobalt mines shows how unique COB is among its peers IMO.
