Have been watching some Aussie EV channel's on YouTube [who upload regularly, and not a one-of upload] and purely on their content I think people have been moving towards EV's, where-as before they preferred their old ICE. What these channel's seem to be doing is show how people can own an EV currently in AUS (late 2019) and still go about your day to day life and there are ways to get around the 'charging time vs quick petrol fill-up at the servo' issue. One of them [Tom] even has 79 referral's purely from social media [http://ts.la/thomas7208] so it seems to be working.
