    Should a BEV Luddite raise their voice here about mountains of EV batteries, here's the answer:

    The only other consumer of used batteries is a recycler. They won't be able to match the price a second-hand storage entity will offer to squeeze cash of a still-functional EV battery over the next ten or twenty years. But both businesses will ramp up as the number of batteries that is available is rapidly increasing especially in China and eventually will everywhere else. Imho, those batteries are more an asset than is being recognized widely. I consider "second-hand" storage the better investment opp and potential cash cow supporting a distributed power grid. Could get huge.

    This excellent June '22 article from WSJ indicates many disparate companies getting involved in circularizing the EV battery, including Solvay. Do not have to be a subscriber to read:
