    I read many articles could you provide some back up for "Will of course always be smaller WITH RE magnets."

    They talk about power mutiple times.



    Again it shows your total lack ofunderstanding. The key is Variable field strength. The high field strength that allows for very high torque at low RPM is actually a problem at high RPM. Also reversing the field adds substantially to performance over a wide RPM range. Reversing the field precisely is what has allowed the rebirth of reluctance motors. So unless you think they can install little robots to keep changing the PMs your statement just makes no sense.


    How could you post this and say what you said above. This is precisly it. Small inexpensive DSP combined with high speed high power SS electronics is what enables many fasinating alternatives. One is the 3 Phase brushless PMM. many none PMMs as well
    It is about reversing the field not changing intensity. Preety hard to achieve reverse. This is basically a 3 phase motor for them to work the field has to be reversed in relation to the rotor position. So what a PM adds in one direction it subtracts in the other. So you add weight and expense with no gain. 3 phase motors need very low reluctance PMs have very high. nice argument but you missed field has to be reversed.
