    Government ‘charity’ wouldn’t be needed for long, as we are close to the point when BEVs are cheaper than ICE anyway.. not to mention, seems contradictionary given that any ICE configuration IS subject to government ‘charity’, and hugely so (as per the IMF study).

    Ultimatelly, if BEVs are cheaper than ICE and subsidies for fossil fuel are removed, everyone is a winner. Waiting 30 years to see if battery or fuel cells are technologically more viable (or who knows what might pop up) is time we do not have. Besides, since when have we humans been good at waiting..? Did we stick to the old tube tv while waiting to see if LCD or plasma is better..?

    Speaking purely from investment POV, in the time frame I think both of us are looking to cash in, to me it would seem obvious that BEV would be better as it uses more NdPr..
