TAX the 98% of us that don't want BEV for a multitude of reasons, incl non urban, habits/needs, economics, etc. That would just about incentivise me to pull on a yellow vest and go burn something on a Saturday, pay more than enough tax right now thnx, just ask Macron how well that went.

Again I'd point you at the cars people WANT to drive and the resultant LIFT in emissions as social media goes into hyperdrive over BEV:


Govt's have realised they can't subsidise the dramatic shift to BEV required to reduce total emission so they've effectively handed the job over to Big Auto by introducing effectively a TAX on every gram over target across average total fleet sales.

And now we need to TAX punters to buy them as well?

Confirms to me what I figured several years ago, something very fundamentally wrong with the concept of BEV as a catchall to global vehicle emissions.

I invested in Lynas to make money as it produces key materials to transition the world towards more cost efficient use of energy, cost as in dollars, resources & environment. Regardless your position on climate, and I honestly don't know, what is blatantly obvious is we cannot stay on the same path as the last 100 years, simply unsustainable.
