Thank you a great article. I have long maintained the best range extension and cost reduction is to decrease performance and weight. This is also the reason I still think to day ( not the future, best solution is a PHEV) The fact that these worn out batteries in terms of EVs use still have a productive life under light discharge and charging further confirms this.
