What?!? A company released an ad which glossed over flaws in their product?!?

How dare they.

The Solterra looks to be a bit of a rebrand of the old toyota bZ4X platform.

Doesn't have 800V architecture like modern EVs and so has quite a slow 10-80% "fast charge" of almost an hour. For comparison, Hyundai Ioniq6 does 10-80% in about 15 mins.

530km range isn't bad, but not great compared to the 1000km ranges we're starting to see come out of China for this class of vehicle.

Subaru trying to dump vehicles that are already almost obsolete into Australia as usual.

I doubt it will sell well compared to the other EVs about.
