    Hi LD

There has been no reason given as to why he was arrested

If it was a prank ??? it will be a very expensive one (hopefully)

The story goes that back in January he had the same experience and Jaguar could not find a fault, but unless the system has some sort of "black box" recorder they will never find a fault

Anyone who asserts that software is perfect is an idiot, so who knows

I still think that this problem will be one of many to come due to the rushed introduction of EVs without controls and without proper testing

Like windows and doors which do not open if the battery shorts out

With the news about Tiger Wood's accident and the "black box" data recorder, I'm curious what information Jaguar keeps about driving data. I know the Journey stores travel time, average speed for each trip. Cadillac's On Star (and many others) collects data on the few minutes before air bags deploy. I believe this has speed, brake and throttle positions and other info at the moment of crash. I'm sure Jaguar has something similar.
What does Jaguar have and is it available to Police and insurance companies?

Apparently the Jaguar does have a recorder which saves the last 30 seconds before a crash but what it saves is unknown
