Depending on the type, the carbon footprint of net zero green infrastructure has about a 2-3 year break even point. That is - after it's been operating about that long, it's "paid off" all the carbon used in construction, and then for however long it keeps running, it's clean with only maintenance to worry about.
Costings are available in the CSIRO gencost report. I'm not going to repeat them here yet again.
Angus Taylor was the one who appointed a FW to be in charge of the hydro. He's the reason it's run over budget. But incompetent lollipop spinners like yourself certainly don't help with completing it on time.
Hilarious that your biggest problem with it is that it's run over budget, but the inability of guys like you to do a day's work without wasting time taking photos for social media is part of the reason why.
