Well I think it's important for AJM to differentiate itself from other market participants. They can this by breaking the operation into different area:
Mining Economics
-cost of production
-strip ratio
-Economic mine life and potential to expand organically and as we have seen by acquisition of SYA tenements
-product grade
-potential commodity diversification- gold?
- exploration potential and selling off of some valuable land?
Qualitative And commercial agility
- in house specialism and ability to grow, learn implement operational efficiencies to produce a superior quality product
-customer diversification
- ability to participate in downstream processing
- customer geographical diversification?
- product being tried, tested and proven in commercial application ( this is the key)
- consistently in quality of product (tied into product grade and quite often strip ratio above)
- ability to move and react quickly to new expansion plans and more critically ability to expand plant easily (modular design)
-availability of specialist labour and in development of in house specialism
Management
-Proactive sales team
-proactive finance team that are able to deliver on expansion plans without significantly diluting shareholder wealth ?
- ability to work under pressure and to
meet regular shipping deadline
- production, quality control and safety
- proven senior management both in mining and in maintaining and prioritising shareholder wealth
AJM has many attributes for me that differentiate it from its peers. Sure they have allot of debt, but all it takes is for prices to turn and all of a sudden it's a cash machine. We just need to hold our own until later this year and we should start to see market turn.
I have a theory that as soon as Trump is kicked out, or election uncertainty kicks in we will create a move away from the US dollar. Coupled with an already sky high US stock market, endless printing machine , an undervalued eurozone, we could start to see the conditions ripen for dollar depreciation. Not to mention
pandemic mishandling. As soon as this happens commodities and commodity related assets become cheap and increased demand will set in. I could be wrong.
