sorry - my poor communication ------------ I meant there that China is now producing affordable EV's ---------- that's part of the mix for uptake in the west
that the west is going to hamper that by tariffs - is a different issue
on that issue

at the cost of climate change - when it comes to how serious are you? - governments fall at the price barrier in industry protection
IMO - for the move to EV's in the west ------------ the cars are not a problem - performance and price and cost of ownership now is ok - particularly with chinese cars
the restriction is networks - that's about all
if the car price is a restriction - then it's tariffs that are the impediment - not the basic car cost and certainly not the performance
