Glad you qualified that because there are still unmet frontiers that batteries are just a bridge too far.

I have heard of trans Atlantic flight, but think that is not happening in my lifetime.

Marine battery power for anything but aircraft carriers may also happen, but for now it's either nuclear or fossil fuel.

If we are expecting heating in the winter and cooling in the summer, then base load is the ONLY way that works at this point in time and that requires gas/oil/coal/hydro or nuclear.

As usual that's my opinion and opinions are like belly buttons, but I'm still gunho on EV's.
