Agree on the Chinese evs. Until recently I would've thought it would be sooner than 5 years but with the Chinese-Australian relations failing a bit maybe it will be later ?
I'd be watching the commercial sector more. Delivery vans, delivery trucks. Vehicles that only do 200ks a day. I reckon once the economics kick in we'll see some serious movement. Businesses don't care about the philosphy. Once an ev becomes cheaper to operate overall I think we'll see some quick change.
Still don't get the hybrid thing when you take the cost into account ? Does it mean that hybrid owners buy one car instead of two ?
