All Australian vehicles could be made much lighter regardless of fuel source. Vehicle taxes should go as the fourth power of vehicle weight, that would reflect vehicle wear on roads. Presently, heavy vehicles are severely undertaxed and light vehicles practically banned. Australia talks "free markets" but won't let them operate here. Instead Australians will bitch how Australia is uncompetitive.
