I didn't have any difficulty in getting some Timor Sea Petroleum in the IPO from a WA broker shortly before the issue closed.I sold them for a small profit.
I bought some Natural Gas Australia on the market only because of a pickup in price and volume.The takeover was a poorly kept secret.I got out of those at a profit too.
At 21.5c buyers are not paying much for the exploration assets of MEO so am hoping for a profit here over the next six months or so.
