I noticed that Luke Todd of NexPort is planning to import BYD electric vehicles. He has financial backing from venture capitalist group True Green Group who focus on Clean Tech investments. Todd has bought 51 ha at Moss Vale to build an EV factory which he plans to be operational in five years. As I understand it, the factory will be tooled up to build BYD models, but it is possible the Australian made cars will be rebranded. The evDirect website will go live in less than a week.
Having an EV manufacturer in NSW will be handy for CleanTeq don't you think?
