With a U price of $US45.50/lb, that means each tonne of rock in the ground is worth 1,000kg x 0.03% x $US45.50 X 2.2 = $US30. (2.2 is to convert lbs to kilos).
With an extraction and processing cost of for example $US13/lb, cash profit is $US17/lb.
