It took EVE a very long time to get into honey/gluco-control as they where doing their due diligence.
If they where to go into block-chain, we would never hear about it, and then they would randomly announce it, and the stock price would literally explode because I think a lot of investors have trust in the team at the moment. They would also take their time on it.
Will they invest in block-chain? Probably not in my opinion. Why? Because they have a lot on their plate at the moment, and the dilution of focus might not be a good idea. It's not clear on first glance, but there is a definite link between their honey/gluco picks, mainly the ability to see growth in the Asian market. They have been making a lot of announcements on works related to their two investments, and even more to come within months (not years), which implies to me that they are fairly focused on these two products.
No matter which way you look at it, block-chain tech is still in it's infancy. There is still a lot of education and research to be done. It's very, very difficult to evaluate all the existing applications of block-chain and weed them out from the charlatans.
On the flip-side, there is a massive hole in the market for Australian Organic Premium Manuka-Style Honey, NZ is beating us. And there is a hole in the market for effective diabetes solutions outside of a cure. This is why I invested in EVE prior to the MJ spike that just happened, and why I will continue to pour my money in irrespective of any other "flavour of the year" industries.
Can you think of a block-chain investment opportunity out there that might look good from the perspective of the EVE team? If so let them know so we can get the spike again
