According to my limited research there are 13 bulk carriers in/at Port Newcastle today. A further 6 bulk carriers are due today.
each bulk carrier seems to be in the 100,000 tonnage load capacity approximately.
it is feasible to suggest that by early next week some 2000000 tonns would have been loaded and left the Port.
At say A$250 per tonne FOB that is $500 million.
