Well why then would he agree to appear on a light weight breakfast show? Maybe he expected warm and fuzzy treatment like he used to get in his weekly spot on Seven's Sunrise where his political career really took off. Before that he was a relative unknown. Surely there's more to leading the country than staying 'on message'. Yes, he's demonstrated over and over that he can do this.
