Well your views on this latest announcement are just your opinion - they are certainly not mine!
Companies release announcements throughout the day and if you think about it, such an announcement would have taken a considerable amount of time to put together and would have little to do with current market shenanigans.
As usual, MML are getting on with business - something that holders will know they do particularly well. What the market does has no practical impact on operations as they have no need to seek further financing so why on earth do you connect an outcome from their ongoing aggressive exploration campaign with the inexplicable rush for the exits by shaky holders and margin traders?
