I agree with you, I hold MBL and see them as the "bellwhether" of market sentiment.
however one aspect of investment banks is that they dont have a lot of recurring income.
as soon as the market has a scent that the deal flow or future income is at risk, the share price shows volatility.
As I see it as soon as MBL shows signs of more earnings growth, the next leg up will occur hard and fast.
