I agree with most of your ideas as expressed in post #16299713.
The main effect of an IPO in the USA should be an increase in share
price for all of us. My experience says that the effect may be large
for the first few weeks but then I expect the share price to fall back some.
I have had several thousand shares of MBLTY, (MSB), for sale on the US
OTC market for a few weeks at, about 20% above present stock price.
My purpose was to get funds for another stock which I
expect to have a major price rise in the next few months.
I would have repurchased MSB after that stock had again stabilized. I
am now cancelling my sell order for MSB, but may put it back on
the market in the next month. I now expect to get more than a 20% gain.
I expect MSB to be very profitable for stockholders within the next 2 years,
and this IPO only increases that probability.
