Wouldn't be worrried about lack of info.
When they hit gas at Caldita , STO was COP's partner.
STO at that time still did weekly reports ( since ceased ) which only showed how much had been drilled & mentioned nothing about gas.
Was eventually announced by STO as a major gas discovery after a number of weeks - during which time report just stated ongoing operations.
That is how the big boys do it. Keep it tight & close to the chest.
As you say , v expensive & slow to core the lot !
