I thing practicingaccount may have it right. In an earlier thread he poste:
By close of business on 11 th June you have to be on the shareholders register (record date).
On 17th the shares will trade ex-rights so you can sell your shares and still be eligible for the shares at $28 a pop.
Correct?
Please let me know if this is wrong because if it is, I will buy big time. Perhaps the sp stability tells us that buying now won't work cause if you could still get on board, then wouldn't the sp be a lot higher?
