Uh huh - it’s a cultural thing
I don’t know how full the courses are and who attends - but there’s plenty of universities in Oz that offer studies in philosophy, history, geography, art, sociology, psychology etc etc
but - you don’t run into too many corporate people or business people who have studied any of it greatly (Ozzies)
they don’t value it for their job training.
And politicians —- pffffft
yet leaders of society are the very people who require such knowledge and ways of thinking
I believe that in Oz - it shows clearly and is a big factor in the spectacular lack of vision we see in Australian leadership
