Sweden didn't legally enforce covid restrictions but most people were well informed and took the same precautions to break the infection cycle as we did. Swedes masked up, socially distanced and adopted covering the mouth/nose effectively when coughing. they also sought immediate medical help with early signs of infection.
voluntary precautions worked almost as well as enforced precautions here in Aus.
