Fact is Mesoblast has done much better than some excellent companies. On a percent basis of decline I believe we are the cream of the crop.
Valuation of all cell therapy companies have been going down even as they achieve positive trial results and get closer to approval.
If you compare MSB to the 20 top stem cell companies I know our decline rate is one of or the least.
In the news I saw a private cell company in phase 1 bought out for over 500 mill.
Big Pharma has done an excellent job of keeping valuations down, basically by not partnering or ending partnerships.
But in truth no cell companies have done a cheap deal/partnership to date. I commend that!! That leaves the possibilities open to a massive deal.
ATHX just did a fair deal with Japanese company Healios.... Nice standard.
We are closer than ever to phase 3 readouts in many trials. The truth is coming ! GL
