Takeda actually paid more than the advertized price for Tigenix. If you read you will see Tigenix is to continue operating as a subsiduary. Management,employees and the board are staying in place. They probably got big fat raises and Takeda stock. All to be paid later.
This helped with lowering buyout price (paid to retail shareholders anyway)
