It's long been suspected, correctly in my opinion, that FAR have a backer ready to buy COP's percentage. As a result of this I suggest that FAR cannot negotiate away these PE rights for free-carries or cash injections. The only way they could do that is if they don't have someone waiting for COP's percentage which means this entire PE play is a bluff of monumental proportion. I cannot see the board signing off on that.
