If you think that what the US propose to do will stop Banks, Financial Institutions, Hedge Funds (not to mention the immoral practice of shorting) doing "risky" business at the expense of the taxpayer, you need to to alot more reading of the FACTS.

Just ask yourself who actually owns and controls the Federal Reserve? - it is privately owned by bankers.....

Google "Jekyl Island" and learn that the "banking elite" control and manipulate the whole system for their own gains. You may ask yourself what this has to do with the ANZ bank and Opes - but this whole mess has been bought about by the Subprime mess which was born out of decisions made by Alan Greenspan and what did he do? and who did he work for?

Added to this how many other jobs get $$$$$$ reward and the old "golden handshake" for a "bad job"? Who wins out of all this? You can bet not the average Opes client or shareholder of any company (take a look at Bear Sterns) - the individual Brokers and the Bank elite do. At least this guy (a noble prize winner) has got it right..........
