    I don't fully accept any level of evidence for anything. A bit like Trees in that sense. Reason: it's too hard to know what's real, and even a systematic review and meta-analysis doesn't constitute proof, only evidence. I like to have a guess as to what is the most likely explanation for things based on 3 factors: what I've read, any personal experiences and intuition.

    NDEs happen in about 15% of people who are revived. I wouldn't call it rare. I suspect the number could be much higher. Reason: people who do tell others of their experience are often mocked or disbelieved. Many NDEr's wait several years before telling anyone because they know what they're saying will not be understood by others, or it will be explained away as a hallucination.
