online trading is great (and great value) when the traffic is low, on bad days where there is massive volatility they all seem to pack up including Commsec and it can cost thousands....maybe the cheap brokerage is a false economy?
I got a full service broker last year in addition to using Commsec. Not sure if I would be able to sell via him my Commsec holdings if push came to shove and I couldn't trade through commsec on a given day, but it is some insurance for me.
But why can't they cope with increased volumes? seems unacceptable? is it lack of infrastructure?
