Hopefully - it's always been the end goal to find pharma that want to pay more than a couple of mill to have a look and big figures in "potential" milestones - 5 to date and 1 still alive just need to find one that lasts and will put in value upfront.
I queried CAR-T a year or 2 ago when it was the hot space and big deals but they didn't seem to interested ? Maybe that's changed ? Although they do often come a step behind with targets - maybe limited capital & shoestring budgets vs big budgets hard to match pace ? It's often been the case but even most recently - breast cancer when breast cancer was hot with deals then by the time they bring mouse models blood cancer is the hot space & shift again ?
PK / PD haa been elusive and still the key if you want to convince pharma to sign anything big & take a chance in my view.
