I would have thought that the graph would say we should have had...

    I would have thought that the graph would say we should have had lots and lots and lots of records broken based on the graph.

    But it appears that only this month have we got to the levels seen some 57 years ago. If the data on the graph is explaining the record broken now - why has the old record not been broken until now?
