Your reasoning is flawed. They aren’t burning money to prove a point to you even if your ego can’t accept that. They have substantial holdings and what they want is for the SP to fly. We all want this and yes I’ve spoken to some of them and they are desperately wanting it to go North.
I suggest you investigate who’s selling down at the close of trading most days and you’ll find your answer.
