If the US does export gas, it is 5 or 6 years away before the first shipment. Also, if the US economy starts to pick up, gas consumption will increase, prices will rise and the need to export will diminish to the point where the delta between the two prices is not enough to justify the capital expenditure of an LNG plant.
It was a good article though. Business Spectator picked it up and published it today as well.
