We won't be in gold boom territory for gold shares imo until the prices of gold shares are multiples of their previous highs.

At present all we are seeing is a price recovery from an irrational stock market wipeout which sent the price of many gold shares back to their 2004, 2003 or even lower prices.

Now that's when gold was under US$400 an ounce.

Try and tell shareholders in these companies, most investors in gold equities, that their shares are booming!

After all, what's a quick 150% rise from 20 cents to 50 cents mean for a long term investor who has seen the share price fall from $2.00 to 20 cents? lol
