Since the only control I have is being able to make a decision about evidence, is there any other evidence of benefit from this drug other than what is published in Pediatric Neurology. While it demonstrated a safety profile (nice), the efficacy 'trend' conclusions seemed very generous. The media follow-up stories seemed to hype these initial findings by suggesting the study shows efficacy but they really dont. At best they warrant a bigger study to test efficacy.
My questions are:
Was the original adult published study registered and where?
The pediatric study was completed in January. Have there been any results from this study discussed anywhere?
