From what I am hearing there is a bit of bullishness ahead of tomorrow's budget.
For mine, a massive massive shorting opportunity. I have shorted heavily into the consumers today - I may get creamed though of course BUT borrowed money will have to be pay'd back sooner or later. Tax cuts, oil price declines and interest rate cuts have helped everyone, BUT sooner or later the Aussie gov't will do the same as the English and start raising taxes - first the high earners ... but to tax the people who succeed in society will always have it's consequences ...
