    @NoBoDe - firstly for someone who disapproves of homosexuality as a deadly sin, to use the phrase 'farked where the sun don't shine' is an instant disclaimer that he might be a person of well-considered opinions and good manners;

    1. birds are the survivors of the dinosaurs - every time you eat chicken, you eat a dinosaur - proof: they have three toes, like the dinosaurs did -

    2. the instruments by which to get to a food source, initially develop to suit the environment an animal, bird finds itself in - for example long legs in some of the storks have developed in places with lots of flat to medium water ways, so they can find and eat aquatic critters like frogs - the long beaks have a similar function. Humming birds have developed similar techniques for reaching honey as have butterflies and bees and some other birds - only they have become very efficient at it - there must be a lot of competition for specialised food sources for them to develop such a complex organ

    3. Scientist have come to a consensus from observation, geological finds with imprints of life which lived aeons ago and which can be carbon-dated and also some experimentation that yes, the evolutionary process took a long long time. However, there are examples in specialised environmental niches, where adaptation of an existing species took place in a relatively short time, and on the surface they often look like a new species, but are simply an adaptation of a species which exists in other places of the world - the Galapagos Islands and its population of birds and 'dragons' come to mind - read up on them . .

    4. I am not sure what you mean about 'what about if the fem couldn't keep up' - there is a simple answer to inferior capacity, capability; it dies out without a descendant - so the fault is not repeated in the next generation

    5. You have only asked a few questions and you have not given an answer - so please read a few different books. One I could recommend is perhaps first a study of genetics by the priest Gregor Mendel, a humble man, who simply observed butterflies and made some amazing discoveries about genetics, but he remained God-fearing and humble

    or the famous 'The Origin of Species' by Charles Darwin - published with great hesitation because he did not wish to upset Victorian society nor his wife, who was a deep believer in G.d as the Creator. I personally cannot see why evolution should deny G.d IMO it gives him even greater power - he planned it all from the very beginning and has many plans in progress.
    and
    Or: why not read a book by Zdenek Burian on 'Prehistoric Man' and I'll quote this episode:

    - The Bishop of Oxford asked Huxley, a staunch supporter of Darwin, whether Huxley's simian ancestry was on his father's or on his mother's side - and Huxley answered: 'he would rather have an ape for a grandfather than a man who misused his gifts to obscure important scientific discussion by rhetoric and religious prejudice!"

    Or as someone who is aware of the capabilities of animals and who loves animals, namely you: a book which deals with the consciousness and self-awareness in humans and animals, it is called 'The Pinnacle of Life' by Derek Denton - again I will quote from this book:
    a chimpanzee had died and the entire troupe displayed signs of disturbance, noises, mourning, if you like and then he quotes Jane Goodall, who observed one particular young chimpanzee "Flint" who was particularly attached to his old mother (who had died) - and he stayed close to her dead body for six days and showed increasing signs of lethargy. His physical condition deteriorated and he died 3 weeks later.

    So why the anger and the Angst?
    I wish you well, I really do
