NEXTSOURCE has unfortunately faced significant hurdles with their ramp up at MOLO. There's the obvious hurdle that everyone is facing - China creating barriers to entry through pricing and supply chain manipulation. There's also their ongoing plant issues... they are now realistically a year or so behind where they would have originally hoped to be, with full nameplate production not expected for a while yet. Their share price has suffered accordingly. I wish our neighbour all the very best.... luckily for them they have Sir Mick behind them - I assume that failure is NOT an option.
IMO it would have been better for us if NEXTSOURCE was flying... our SP would possibly be higher if their's had not fallen so much. Selfishly I have been happy to accumulate more shares at cheaper prices.
The upside is that, by all accounts, we have a great relationship with our neighbour and will benefit greatly by learning from their commissioning problems.
Having NEXTSOURCE is a massive advantage for EVG investors. IMO this is the closest thing to owning a crystal ball that an investor (and our management) could possibly have.
