I disagree, some of the most successful traders I've met have been on T20 lists etc supporting the company during its bull run phase. They also support the company on capital raises. Market cycles are well known. With so many stocks on the ASX, technicals are just a screening process for them without having to understand the company intimately. I am a technical trader, however, I have followed this company long enough to understand it well. Im not a day trader is that's what you are referring to... I use long term indicators (monthly timeframes) to examine change in momentum to make decisions of buy & sell. Just like how fundamentalists use change in fundamentals as a trigger.
