Sorry, but its become quite an extensive work in progress and have yet to barely touch on the architectural and navigational aspects! The critiquing of the cross-device responsiveness, the style and brand identity I have addressed thus far. The pedantic and petty annoyances I listed alongside some constructive suggestions too.. That all takes time and brain-matter (of what's left). Screenshots galore which have to be sent across devices is not the way I envisaged spending my Sunday. My efforts better be appreciated but, more importantly, lead to a much-improved website design.
I have a couple of suggestions that will help on the branding and architecture side of things, I think. In fact, I will post the video which was made for Blackearth when in pursuit of a non exec for the board (which resulted in the appointment of Heather Zampatti). It led me to the conclusion that a similar video should be made for the website. Its really impressive and oozes our newly embraced brand identity.
As for posting my critique here... I don't intend to because HC always has a way of stuffing with formatting and it can take ages to rectify. Mind you, I could just screenshot the email but I couldn't be bothered dealing with the trolls and downrampers who are attracted to that sort of thing. I pity the soul who will be the recipient of my email (when i finally get it finished). Its long, its detailed, its comprehensive, but I hope I haven't inadvertently laced it with facetiousness and that my true intent is received favourably. Needless to say that I'm a tad tired!
